Vasili Manelis
Non-Executive Director
Vasili Manelis, CA (SA) is a Non-Executive Director at CoreGro and also serves on
the board of the Investment Committee.
Vasili started his career in 1998 where he focused on the audit of property and
engineering firms, and on developing and training staff in specialized audit
software. In 2001 he moved to BDO Orange County (California) as a senior audit
associate, specializing in real-estate and medical groups, until 2005 when he
returned to South Africa to grow his own real estate portfolio.
Vasili has spent the past 18 years refining his skills as a property developer.
His South African firm (Nevada Group) is a respected leasing, management
and development company which has purchased and developed numerous
neighbourhood retail shopping centres and fuel service stations. Vasili has an
extensive network of retail and capital partners and has vast experience in
property valuations.
In 2019 he was acknowledged at the annual South African Property Owners
Association (SAPOA) awards, for Innovation and Design of a Shopping Centre.
Vasili has a passion for researching technology, especially in the real estate and
renewable energy field. He is broad minded and enjoys collaborating with leaders
in property and is involved in the upliftment of business enterprises.
